Additonal Information for Wild West Weeks:
Daily electives include: Critter Corral (small animal care), crafts, and hour-long trail rides. Ranchers may choose a different elective each day. Sign up for daily electives will be held every morning. These electives are not available to those taking the Horsemanship option.

Weekly electives include: Vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), archery, and a sport elective (either soccer, hockey, or basketball) will be offered as elective options each week. One elective is chosen for the entire week. Sign-up for these electives will be held Sunday evening.

Stay For Two or More Weeks

Take an evening ride out to Fort Wilderness and enjoy campfire food and marshmallows over an open fire along with a special campfire sing-a-long and chapel. After a good night's sleep, wake up to pancakes, eggs, and hot chocolate before returning to camp.

Experience the classic BTR (Breakfast Trail Ride); an early morning horseback ride to a special spot nestled in the woods for a hot & hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, and our famous "doughboys" cooked over an open fire. Start the day right with an encouraging breakfast devotion. Don't miss out on this old MMR favorite!

Horsemanship Training $75.00

For those of you who desire to really experience the West, the Horsemanship Training option is the one for you. You will benefit from an hour of quality instruction in riding and horse care each day. You will be placed in a class according to your riding experience led by a CHA certified instructor. Make a new four-legged friend as you spend quality time riding in the arena and out on the trail. If you choose this option you will be able to show off your new skills in the closing program at the end of the week.

Daily electives, including trail rides are not available
to those who choose this option.
