C.A.M.P. STAGE 1 PROGRAM

The C.A.M.P. Orientation, Stage 1, will be instituted for the first 4 weeks of the C.A.M.P. program. The overall goal of Stage 1 is to create an atmosphere that gives us the ability to evaluate the commitment and character of the incoming apprentices and the potential they have for success in the program. Our desire is that Stage 1 will:

  • Maximize their ability to succeed by minimizing wasted time.
  • Control negative peer pressure by developing positive peer pressure.
  • Develop unity and camaraderie among the students.
  • Learn appropriate Bible study skills to help them succeed during the year.
  • Develop positive attitudes and minimize sour attitudes.

This program will run 6 days a week. Sunday will be a supervised day of rest, worship/study time and letters written to family and friends. Students will only bring necessities (clothes, toiletries, etc.) for these first 4 weeks; no music or videos will be allowed, unless mandated by a supervisor. It will be important that all supervisors maintain the integrity of the schedule and time, ending each activity at the proper time to allow the day to move ahead on schedule.
